Common Sense also says that while I might have slept once or twice, and had a few beers since 8th grade history, that by no means indicates a failure of the American Educational system on me. I'm quite sure I'm the first person to have that particular mental lapse and confuse the two (that's sarcasm, in case you couldn't tell). Then again, the chances are, unless you have a master's in history, I've forgotten as much history as you've ever known. I would respectfully request that you take your insulting attitude elsewhere. There's a difference between being educated and being a condescending ass. It seems that your knowledge of the difference is severely lacking.
