The retail price of this tool is $895.00. As I am "in the business" and have an account with UMI I paid less, but it was still quite a bit of money.
However, when I checked into the price of obtaining the equipment from different sources, and the labor cost for me modifying and preparing it to do the same job, it was more cost-effective for me to just purchase the finished product. I would suggest that, unless you are in the instrument repair business, it would not be cost-effective to buy one of these.
