I must deduce, that you are playing the BBb version, as Db would have been a derivative of the 9th partial on a CC. 9th partials tend sharp if not in tune.

Db is a derivative of the 10th partial on a BBb. 10th partials invariably tend flat, on conical brasses sometimes very much so.

As the 11th partial is even more off any usable scale, I play high D with 1+2 as a derivative of the 12th partial. Hence Db is 2+3.
