If you're happy with BBb, and if you find it easy to play with the type of music that you are playing, then stick with it. You'll simplify your life.

However, I've personally played three of Sam Gnagey's King 2341 CC creations, and IMO they played noticeably easier, especially in the upper register, than the new King 2341 BBb or the VMI 3301 BBb that I was comparing them to. This convinced me to decide on buying a CC horn instead of a BBb. I decided not to buy Sam's horn at that time, because I also wanted to upgrade my F tuba, and I found an opportunity to purchase a better F and a more modestly-priced CC. So Sam may still have the particular horn I tried. But if not, he usually has a new project going on the bench. Sam's horns play very easily and sound great -- contact him for a test drive.
