Wow, this post is "marginal".

I have tuba-playing friends who have some remarkable skills. The better they are at playing the tuba, the better they seem to be at other things, such as house wiring, air conditioning repair, automobile mechanics, etc...

and here's my current not-fixable-by-Joe thing:

I have an O-L-D Radio Shack endless-loop-full-size-cassette answering machine that I would like to use on a dedicated phone line to offer info about my business (either a 3 or 5 minute endless loop tape that I already have). Of course, I would set this machine to NOT take messages. This old machine seems to do EVERYTHING it is supposed to EXCEPT answer the phone (!?!), which makes it not much use, obviously.

1/ Is anyone on this list available (for hire) to repair this machine? or...

2/ Does anyone on this list have a similar old machine to SELL me in perfect working order? or...

3/ Does anyone know of some digital technology (obviously new) machine for sale that can offer at least 3 and possibly 5 minutes of outgoing info recording time AND have the option of NOT taking messages?

Thanks Sean, and thanks to the Electro-Gadget Sav-vy tuba players on this list.

-Joe
