Is it advisable to change the 15-inch bell of a B&H Imperial Eb tuba
to a 19-inch bell and to change its leadpipe to that of a Sovereign?
or would the sound still be much better on a used Sovereign?
I am afraid to change only the leadpipe because then the tuba might
overblow easily.
Does anyone know who might do this in the UK? Or even, how long it would take and how much it would cost?
