The tuba is 35 inches tall, has an 18 in bell and is a compact model. The bore is average and not big and the tuba plays wonderful.
It has an exceptional range and is very even throughout and it is a Conn copy of an old tuba and a good copy. The first 6 weren't that great and I had them sent back and Rudy fixed them and a couple had come back and they were great. Intonation is very good as well throughout the range.
One of the two had a couple of slightly stuffy low notes, the G and F and the rest was open and very clear sounding.
The two played great and Rudy has a great little tuba now that is worth it.
