For your European-style horn you may find better success with a more cup-shaped mouthpiece, although a lot of people swear by their Helleberg-inspired funnel-shaped mouthpieces. A good large MP that is sort of mid-way between the funnel like you're (I think) used to and the traditional cup is something like the Miraphone Rose Orchestra TU 25, it also has a more forgiving inner lip (not as sharp) and rim face (not as flat) than the Helleberg copies. If that is still too big, try the current version of the Miraphone C3 if you can find one.
