1/ That's hilarious.
2/ Anything REALLY funny is based partially in reality...the reality here being that the only ophecleide "performances" that most ever hear are the disgusting attempts by musicologists to make sounds on them.
3/ Another reality is that the ophicleide has so many "real" alternate fingerings that it can easily be played in tune better than most all tubas...even better than Dr. Young's.
