You are describing a Conn 2. Theyare no longer made but are often on E-bay and are supposed to be made now as a UMI 2 tuba mouthpiece. Try one and see if it doesn't work the way you want. It is all conical and opens up the lower register of every tuba I have tried it on from a Weril BBb to a Conn Eb and including my Willson EEb and my Hirsbrunner HB4C and a stray York leaning against the wall.
