At the risk of turning this into HBNet, I apologize in advance for asking this rather pointless question. I have been wondering though, so maybe someone out there has the answer to this...
Are the HB21's (293's?) currently still handmade? It doesn't matter I suppose, but I'm just curious. I notice variations in who has what problems with their horns (obviously), and I know that individual issues are part of this, but I am considering the implications of handmade versus "manufactured"... I am wondering if these problems would be more consistant or less consistant depending on how the horn was made? I guess this could be applied to any instrument, any brand.
I don't have any so-called problems with my horn that aren't a result of my weaknesses in fundamentals, this is just my overly-curious mind at work I guess ... I'm also curious about my new horn.
I apologize for the bad wording of this, I can't figure out how to ask what I am trying to ask!
Thanks everyone, in advance.
