I PROMISE ya it ain't cost-effective. Brand-new rotor assemblies wholesale (AT) $100, which means "retail" is about $200, if you can get someone to order one for you.
How much is machine-shop time, by the hour, and how many hours? (If your friend is "doin' ya a favor for free", that's fine, but it will probably be a $1000 favor...Most folks like to get favors in return.)
