I recently acquired a nice playing 8-yr old MW 45S. Problem: the horn plays about 40 cents sharp -- consistently -- across the full range of the horn. Granted, I've been using an "American" shank (PT64), while the horn has a large (European) receiver, but that wouldn't account for 40 cents, would it? Anybody have any mouthpiece and/or repair suggestions? Maybe a new receiver? Thanks.
