I tested one before buying my Conn/Cerveny stencil. I thought that the valves were clunky and didn't like the response on the one I played. Play this horn side by side with others and draw your own conclusions. I wouldn't buy one without playing it first. These seem to be less consistent than other Yamaha instruments. But, what really matters is how it plays for you.
