To me, the issue is much less money than it is environment. I would not consider a $20,000 job in an expensive city in the USA a bad move. It is just the idea of working in China which seems a bit scary. Maybe I am too easily influenced by the mass media.
If the job was Singapore or Tokyo or Australia, then I would say heck ya! China, Korea, Pakastan, and the such just seem a bit to unstable for my concervative side, as small as that side may be.
