I have a Hirsbrunner HB 21 CC tuba for sale. It was picked from a batch of 8 horns in 1994 from Custom music in Detroit.
I am currently using a Yorkbrunner in the orchestra and find that I don't need the HB21.
The horn is in excellent condition and has just been cleaned and shined. Looks brand new.
There are a few small dents in the bottom branch.
I am asking $12,995.00 including the Hirsbrunner hard case, which is also in exquisite condition. The case has been flown only 4 times.
Custom Music is quoting $15,000.00 for a new HB 21 with case.
This horn works great with solos, quintets and the orchestra.
It is very even throughout all registers and has an especially great low register. There are no stuffy notes. This horn is designed with all the improvements they made to the Hirsbrunner 4/4 and 6/4 tubas.
