Memphis airport layover this weekend?

Here's a reminder. If you've out-of-town business toward the end of this week and have a significant layover in the Memphis airport Sunday afternoon (the 11th), come hear me play the Gregson Tuba Concerto with the River City Concert Band. We're doing it at the Buckman Performing Arts Center / Rose Theatre at the (major) intersection of Walnut Grove Road and Perkins Road. This is about two miles west of the I-240 / Walnut Grove interchange. Timing-wise, it's next-to-last on the concert, so it will probably "happen" after 3:45 P.M., because the concert starts at 3:00. River City is a very good amateur band, and the concert has lots of "good stuff" programmed, in addition to the Gregson.

If you haven't ever seen Graceland, you should do that...It is truly bizarre, close to the airport, and the ticket is reasonably-priced, but otherwise I welcome you to hear the band concert and the Gregson. (I think there is actually an admission charge for this concert [sorry]...maybe $5.)
