There is still a market for BBb horns. Mirafone has a fan club and you can probably sell the horn at a good price. I personally think that the whole Bb vs C thing is quite overblown. A good player is a good player on any horn. After playing on a CC for 15 years, I fell in love again with Bb horns. I started to play with a jazz project last year and realized (again) that most jazz (horn) players think in Bb. Everything feels to me much better on a Bb horn for that purpose. To sum up (as we say often) if you like your Bb tuba and don't absolutely need to sell it- don't. It's just a matter of getting used play both keys. French horn players do it and so can we. Take care.
