Is it just me, or does this tuba look a lot like a Meinl Weston 2145 with a bigger, earlier bell flare? Maybe Matt Walters or Scott Mendoker can shed some more light on this. I know that there was a very recent discussion about this axe in which Scott said that it had Meinl Weston valves, but that tuba just looks like an over-weight 2145 to me.
No offense to Matt or anyone at Dillon' s was meant in that last comment. I just think that they look quite similar. Besides, as an owner of a 2145 I'll admit that the exact same tuba with a bigger, ealier bell flare might be ideal.
