I got to play an EEb Nirschl a few years back that Custom was taking around to various conventions. I own the Nirschl York which is a great tuba in and of itself but this Eb blew me away. Truely, it was the best overall tuba I have ever played. Eveness and openess all up and down the horn. If I had to play only one instrument this would be it. I think Custom sells it for about 8-9K which is outrageous. You can buy it directly from Walter Nirschl himself for about $6500.
