I owned one of these horns a few years ago. I know alot of people that like them alot, but I would have to give them a big thumbs down.

Here's why:
1. The metal of the horn is very soft and then. You will have a very dinged up bell and slides after a short while.
2. The screws will rattle unless you do something about them like the other poster suggested. I was caught without my screwdriver a couple times and it was very irritating!
3. Intonation is a hassle
4. Low "barking" threshold
5. Thumb ring on my version was very flimsy and nonadjustable.
6. My horn was tuned flat- tuba quartet had to tune down to me because the horn couldn't play up to pitch. Brace placed very close to tuning slide eliminated cutting option...

Embracing the truth as I know it,
