Some time ago, Peter adressed thios issue. After writing to him, he emailed me a procedure to fix the problem PERMANENTLY. I brought my horn to Dick Ackright in Oakland (CA) along with Peter's instructions, and the valves have performed FLAWLESSLY, even in the hotest temperatures ever since. I suggest you write to Peter directil and ask him for the procedure. Unfortunately, I gave mine to Dick and haven't gotten it back, or I'd post it here.
