The Alexander factory is in Mainz Germany, the Cerveny factory is in Kralove', Czech Republic. They aren't the same horn. As an owner of both I can tell you that they have distinctive, but very different characteristics.
Alexander seems to have quit making tubas for the time being. They aren't even mentioned on the Alexander web site. Their horns are still available.
