Hey Steve. I bought a Besson 967 from Chuck Leven's Washington Music Center ((301)942-6800) in September while at BNCOC. I shopped around for months before picking the particular horn I wanted. You really should try all the brands out there before deciding on one. I took home 2 Meinl 451's and a laquer Besson to try them out. I also went to shops and conferences to try out Willson, Hirsbrunner, and the new Yamaha. I decided on the Besson and knew I just had to find "the one." Take your time buying a horn. I would try to sell the other one on your own... you'll get more for it that way. Another resource is Charlie Krause at The Brasswind. He's a pain to get in touch with, but he'll call you back if you reach his quota of voicemail.
