Roger,
You must remember that Roger Bobo recorded Morning Song on an "F" tuba. While that kind of range is possible on a BBb it will not sound the same. As for developing the high register, long tones will definitely
help it may take some time. While in college I studied Bass Trombone with Dr. Terry Cravens and playing
the trombone helped improve my high register. So playing trombone or euphonium in that register may help.
