I need info on the VMI V0101 or the V0201 BBb Tubas.
I know what to expect sound wise (being smaller sized horns) but I was wondering how they played in terms of intonation. Are they constructed well? I don't mind if they are made of light weight gauge brass and/or the valve linkages are clunky, but I would like to know if the action of the valves themselves is reliable.Also is the first valve slide accessible for tuning? Thanks in advance.
