I play on a Ziess tuba. It is a free blowing horn. I had the Lead pipe changed
and the thumb rest moved to fit my hand. It is similiar to the B&S Imperial. The original lead pipe had made In East Germany scribed on it.
Horn is a monster to fill. The sound is great and works well in a Quintet. Bell is pretty high and had to get used to it. Other than that, it is great.
