What's the best sousaphone out there? It's gotta be the Conn 20K, hands down. It projects beautifully and has a fantastic lower and upper register that lets you "speak freely". If I could I would play a Conn sousaphone in concert band and get rid of the crappy Miraphone 4-rotary that I know play on! :) I heard that the 4-valve Miraphone sousaphones are great, too, but I can't comment on them because I've never played on one. I know Besson isn't american made, but definitely steer clear of their sousaphones because they have to be the worst sousas out there. Just my $0.02 worth...
