All the best tuba players that I know play a B&S or a Yamaha F tuba. The B&S simply has a great sound and a great feel. Although, Alan Bair (sp?) who plays for Milwaukee Symphony recently sold his B&S with the Mirafone 185 bell after he bought one of the new MW F's. It's all pesonal preference.
