Depending on the model of Kalison you have - the leadpipes will help correct some of the pitch tendencies that are inherent to the Kalison. They will also slightly affect the sound. You will notice more concerning the pitch an "feel" of the instrument. Mr. McCracken would probably be able to give you a better idea of the changes each one would bring to a specific model.
