Yes there are many teachers in the D.C. area. I myself took lessons from somebody in the navy band for over five years. He is outstanding. I would give you his number, but I do not have it with me here at school, besides I think he may be fairly booked. You may want to look around though. I know somebody that took lessons from somebody in the Air Force band and they were very please with them. I believe it was David Porter. Also there is a Mr. Brown (I forget his first name) in the army or marine band I want to say.
