I agree totally with the statments above. I am a Meinl-Weston man, and love evryone one of their horns. Although as stated above they may not be the horns for you. The "perfect" CC tuba on the market right now to many is either a Hirsbrunner Grand Orchestral or Walter Nirchel's Yorkbrunner copy. Both are excellent horns, but both are very expensive well over $10,000 for each. But, play test a few see what you like. I urge anyone to try a Meinl-Weston, but take a look at their close competitors such as B&S Perantucci, Yamaha, the Getzen G-50. Just remember the horn has to suit you, not everyone who has an opinion on this page, the man who is selling to you,or the professional who sponsors the horn. Play on.
