I'm very fond of Pro-Chem's rotor oil because it contains anticorrosive agents. Because rotors are generally made of raw brass and are subject to a great deal moisture they are very prone to corrosion. In theory atleast, preventing corrosion should prolong the life of the rotors. Any petroleum based valves oil should help reduce corrosion. Once the valves have been allowed to corrode the only solution is a good healthy acid bath or.. my preference.. soak the rotors in vinegar over night.
cheers!
