If you don't have any experience with recording, it might be a good idea to try and find a local soundman to help you out. Also, with all the new digital home recording gear out there now, you can get nearly studio quality recordings for very little money. If you're just doing a solo number or with piano, just find the local synth/keyboard/guitar hero and do the session in their basement studio... they will make you sound like you're playing in Carnegie Hall! {;v]
