Now that I see the picture of the Besson CC, I am remarkably ashonished at how close it resembles the Nirschl 4/4 CC. My Nirschl came from close to the same time as the beginnings of the Besson, and the only physical difference I can tell is the shape of the lead-pipe. It looks like the wrap is virtually identical. I haven't played the new Besson CC, but if it plays anything like the 4/4 Nirschl, it's one heck of a horn.
