You know, I'd always been told that in high school ("H2O2 breaks down quickly, so buy small bottles and replace often") but the truth is that H2O2 breaks down quickly when illuminated. Hence why it's stored in a dark brown bottle. Keep in in a dark medicine cabinet in an opaque bottle and it should last a good while. I'd say try it and if it doesn't work go buy a new bottle, but it's not as bad as popular myth.
