I have the PT-16, and I think it's awesome, it has the 4+2 valve combonation, with a flat whole step for the index finger, and a flat half step for the middle finger. The extra valves open up a lot of tuning possiblities, especially for the problem notes on the PT F tubas. (I have eight or more ways to play low C, with varying pitch results) The low F can be played with all six valves down, and it makes for a solid, full note when it's held or in quick passages. The horn itself is exactly like the PT-15, except for the addition of the sixth valve. I paid $7500 for mine, I bought it new from Custom Music (where else?) and it came with a sweet gig bag and hard case. The valve combonation is difficult to get used to at first, but I think the benefits outweigh the weirdness at first. You can e-mail me if you have more questions.
