I tied into a 5 pound 3/4 size silver rotary smallmouth bass one day while flyfishing (dryfly). I got about 10 seconds into the fight when a 2 pound bluegill (bream or bariphonium) hit the wet fly. These were two lower brass sized fish that thought they owned the lake.
Yes, I landed both.
