This is a really great horn for someone looking for an inexpensive CC tuba that plays like a much more expensive horn! Definitely not your everyday Kalison! Excellent response and intonation, creates a huge sound when necessary and can be very nimble in smaller settings. It's also in VERY good condition and has been well maintained by both of its owners--note the custom leadpipe by Hirsbrunner.
I have played both this Kalison and the new horn that Chris has just acquired. I must say that this new horn is the ONLY reason he's selling the Kalison.
Definitely worth checking out for those who are looking.......
