"Grand orchestral" is a category, not a model, and it applies to all CSO York-style 6/4 tubas. There was a Conn model (for sale further down) that was called the "Orchestra Grand Bass", and the Hirsbrunner HB-50 is called the Grand Orchestral. The Conn is among the first of the series, and the Hirsbrunner a modern model, and I suspect they play rather differently, heh, heh.

As to what they play like as a class, do a search on Holton (and read my descriptions of my own) and on "old man's tuba". That will probably turn up what there is on the subject.
