The short and narrow male branches of my 981 main tuning slide has these dimensions:

Diameter: .819"

Length: .1.725"

The long and wide male branch has these dimensions:

Diameter: .925"

Length: 3.125"

The two female branches/receivers were measured from the end to the ridge separating them from a "beauty" ring. Their lengths were 2.00" and 3.175".

There seems to be a minor discrepancy in the diameters from your measurements. If they are just an expression of the wear on your slide then things may work out OK, but I would measure the inner diameters of the receivers quite carefully. If you don't believe in a fit, then I am quite sure, that the original bow will be available from B&H/Besson.

As for the length of the main tuning slide of my 1999 Sovereign 981 Eb:

when I look at it from the exact perspective used in the illustration linked to in my previous posting, then it is shorter by about the half of the outer diameter of the 1st valve tubing.
