I'm ignorant as to what the Germans (and the rest of Europe outside the UK) play on, equipment-wise.
Am I correct in thinking F-Tuba is the primary Orchestral tool (with the Bb used more rarely - generally where 'Contra' specified by a Composer)??
Any aspiring College player is nowhere until he has a 6-valve goldbrass F - Right? :)
Does anyone know what the best pro's favour in equipment - is there a trend?
Presumably makers such as Alex, Rudolf Meinl, Meinl Weston, B&S (Hirsbrunner also?) etc feature?
