Well, I couldn't resist posting on this topic.
My posts last month, may have partially motivated
Joe and others to think about this topic.

It's a great topic to talk about because for different circumstances trips have different value. In my case we are all adults. It should be noted also that money was a big issue with our group. Those who could not afford the out-of-pocket expenses were given special privilege to do extra fundraising. And most importantly as a bandmember was our travel agent, we got tremendous value for our money. Absolutely pennies on the dollar what one would pay traveling alone.

Do I believe that children should go on extravagant trips with their band ?
Absolutely not! Unextravagant trips ARE certinaly a very good thing.
But I agree with Joe entirely; there's too many fake contests and bullshit
prizes and bullshit itineraries that don't mean a thing in this INDUSTRY.

That's my opinion for what it's worth.
And I hope the worth of my opinion
will grow when you see my web site.
It features the worlds first plastic (not fibergalss) tuba.
I will post my web site address soon and
promise not post under this name again.
Just call me Brian Thanks!
