Consider that all of these kids don't go on to become professional musicains, a lot go on to become other things, some of these occupations will allow them to in the future donate good amounts of money to their childrens music program, other will be community members who can support them. If you live in a community that can afford 2000 dollar trips, then, sure, if not, they will enjoy the 150 miles ones too.
