I had a similar problem with my 451 euph. Have to agree with most of these guys. A couple or so cleanings (be sure to place the horn on a towell if you soak it in a bath tub. You do not want to scratch the finish.)I use Binak on my valves. Also on the slides. Was advised that slide grease affects the action of Binak. Don't know if that is true, but Binak seems ok on the slides. One word of caution, use only one drop of Binak on each valve. Any more than one drop causes the valves to be very sluggish and the only cure is to remove them and wipe them with a cloth - repeatedly until there is only a slight coating of the stuff on the valves. This worked for me. My horn is now about two years old and the valves are still very tight and show no wear at all. Hope this helps.
