Hey, Tony:

I've thought about the nylon valve guide thing for my horn as well (just rebuilt w/a new UMI valveset) but was holding back because folks gripe about durability.

About how much playing can you get out of the nylon guides (Use first valve as example - I'm sure that one goes first). How many hours/week x how many weeks playing didja get?

Also, are the replacement guides cheap enough & easy enough to replace (after that initial threading is done) to make it inexpensive & convenient in the long run?
