Not to open a can of worms, but is there any particular reason that you're switching from something you know (BBb) to something you don't (CC) AND contemplating a purchase at the same time?

My point is that you know what a BBb is like, you feel comfortable around one and can probably make an informed decision about what you like and don't like.

Of course, if you're looking toward a career in orchestral playing or your teacher has recommended that you switch to CC or you're simply flush, then it's not much of an issue.

There are some really great deals in very good BBb tubas out there and many manufacturers still charge a premium for a CC that's built off of essentially the same chassis as the corresponding BBb. Your bucks may go farther buying a good BBb.

Again, no criticism intended, just curiosity.
