Last spring a young tuba student of mine decided that she wanted a Weril, and I agreed that it would suit her needs. I gave her parents the names and numbers of all the dealers that I knew about who handle Werils. After a few calls the mother decided to go with the big tuba store in Texas, which promised that she would have the instrument by a certain date. When the date arrived (four weeks later) they said it would be "two more days". Then they suddenly decided it would be another three weeks! The mother called T.E. and got the same instrument for the same price in just seven days, no hassle.
Just for the heck of it I emailed the place in Texas, inquiring if they had any Werils in stock. The guy who replied said he would let me know in a couple of days, but I am still waiting to hear from him.
