I'd like to publicly thank Matt Walters for the help he gave my (soon to be ninth grade) student and I with the purchase of a new tuba at Dillon's. Matt explained each detail of the tubas in the store, as well as care of the selected instrument and proper use of the gig bag. He didn't steer us in any one direction in terms of make or model, but explained the characteristics of each design and left us to try them out. The afternoon was capped off by an expert demonstration of the dent-eraser, (that thing is amazing!). It's impressive to me that someone as busy as Matt offers such personal attention and time to his customers. I know it's all been said before, but as brass musicians I don't think we can thank people like this enough. Thanks, Matt!
