This all brings up an interesting point, is music merely for the financially privileged? I know I was always jealous of those who had great equipment and resources while I was in college. To raise an interesting question, do most guys that go to the expensive schools go there because they really are that talented, or because they could afford it as well? What about summer festivals? So many guys waste their own and the schools time. I worked my butt off to get my first horns, but did resort to copying music on occasion. I know, poor me, who gives a crap.
